Karratha Early Learning

Karratha Early Learning has changed a lot in the 10 months we have been attending the daycare, and it’s current state could not be faulted. They have the most beautiful, kind, genuinely caring educators that love your children as if they were their own. Special shout out to Mico & Paul - who without a doubt make my son feel safe being away from his parents all day and make me feel reassured that he’s in good hands. The new Centre Manager, Sarah, has only been with the centre for a few weeks and has already made so many positive changes and we look forward to what she has in store for the future. We could not be happier and more proud to send our child to Karratha Early Learning!

My daughter loves going to Karratha Early Learning. The educators are friendly, welcoming and helpful and ensured that she transitioned well into the centre. She gets so excited each day when we arrive and can’t wait to wave hello to the educators and her friends! She has learnt so much whilst at the centre, including self help skills. Thanks so much for all that you do ladies!! Keep up the good work!!

I'm incredibly grateful to the staff and service that the Karratha Early Learning Centre provides to my 2 children. The educators are kind, and gentle and make you feel really welcome. My children are happy and developing far beyond my expectations. The educators work extremely hard to ensure our children are learning and developing in a safe environment, and I could not be happier with how much my children have grown since starting at the KEL. My only concern is they are not open 7 days a week, ha ha my children love it there! KEL and management should be very proud of the work the Educators and Staff put in. You will not find a better centre. Thank you SO much

They daycare itself is fantastic, really great educators and facilities. However, I’ve had problems with the accounts team. First few weeks the money was coming out of my account and then all of a sudden I got a bill for $580 after me trying to chase them up for several weeks attempting to pay my bill my end invoice was $900+ Sarah in accounts assured me that my direct debit was set up for the following week and asked if my details had changed and I said no. You guessed it - the money didn’t come out and I am again chasing her up 2 weeks later asking her to take money out of my account. My partner and I are looking at other daycares to send my daughter because of this situation.

Great carers let down by a sub service support team (enrolments and billing, often no answer on the phone and no response on emails either). Disappearing bookings, unexpected fee increases and just poor communication all round from the management level. I feel for the poor staff on the ground who absolutely try their best and try to keep service up when their leaders are on an east coast time zone with no support presence.

This facility has very caring staff and work so hard to look after the children to the best of their ability. There is no manager at the moment so the staff do not have access to enrollment information. This has meant that the person who's in charge in enrollments is not located there and has just overcharged us by 2K and when we looked at our statements we had been double charged for days and it was a complete mess. The enrollment team completely lied and said that one of my children had a permanent spot which I found out today was not true. Basically we were told that he cannot return as they're not providing casually bookings any more. So essentially I have no child care for one of my children. In Karratha they have been on the waiting list in 5 other facilities since April and at one there's still 30 kids ahead of mine. There's no way I can just book them in somewhere else. I believe the owners have a LOT to answer for. They have not got staff because there is no way to get someone to work $20 per hour when they're expected to work under really stressful conditions. It is appalling. Our poor children who have just got settled into a new day care are told they're not welcome any more. My three year old will also be effected by this. It's a huge problem and even if our issue is solved, the centre still needs to be completely transformed. I have let the department of education know about our personal experience but I know I'm not alone. The department has explained that the centre is not allowed to take on casual booking due to lack of staff. Shame on the owners for letting it get this bad. I am beyond discussed with how they have treated they're staff and also their customers. Child protection will be my next call. Crazy.

We have had the most positive experience with both of our children in care at Karratha Early Learning.Every single staff member we have interacted with at the centre have been caring and loving towards both of our children and have provided fantastic feedback to us at the end of each day.I am so happy we found a place at Karratha Early Learning and got to experience the loving environment that they have created.

Honestly the most dreadful daycare to deal with. My son was hit by an educator, had nappy rash burns so bad they were bleeding, was bitten to the point of breaking skin on multiple occasions without a single educator knowing what happen.My daughter who also attended was violated in the toilets by another child and the daycare swept it all under the rug. They have an excuse for everything. They have takes 2 $750 bonds from us and has thus far refused to refund them as we pulled both children out for safety concerns. When trying to get in contact with the centre you almost never get an answer on the phones. I would not recommend this daycare. It’s awful.Only giving one star because it doesn’t allow you to give 0.

Our daughter has been attending this Child Care Centre since she was one year old. The staff are absolutely amazing, making our little girl feel right and home. She comes home every day to tell us about all the adventures she has had during the day! Thank you so much for your fabulous service, our family is so happy with our choice to make this our daughters daycare.

I have 2 children at Karratha Early Learning, the center is clean, bright and welcoming. The staff are fantastic and approachable, and know the children on a personal level. The center is run very well, the director is friendly, available and always willing to talk, and the center's policies are transparent and available to parents. The daily updates on facebook and storypark are great. We will miss you all so much when we leave Karratha.
